Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

UDT07 Direct and Wildcard Links Subtasks

Use the UDT07 Direct and Wildcard Links Subtasks of the UDT02S screen to add and/or delete UDT07 links.

If Time & Expense is co-deployed with Costpoint, the Direct Links subtask is read-only and modifications must be made directly within Costpoint.

Note: The Direct Link or Wildcard subtasks display conditionally, depending on how link options are set on the UDT options tab of Configuration > General Controls > Configure General Settings. For example, if the UDT is configured as a direct link, the subtasks related to Wildcards do not display, or conversely, if configured as Wild Card, the Direct Links subtasks do not display.

UDT07 Direct Links Subtask

Note: This table is not editable when Time & Expense is co-deployed with Costpoint.
Field Description
UDT07 This column displays the currently linked UDT07s.
Description This column displays the currently linked UDT07 descriptions.
Rate 1 This column displays the rate 1 value for the currently linked UDT07s. This column displays only if you selected the Use check box for Rate 1 in the User-Defined Rates group box of the Miscellaneous tab of the Configure Time Settings screen, and its title will be as defined in the Label field.
Rate 2 This column displays the rate 2 value for the currently linked UDT07s. This column displays only if you selected the Use check box for Rate 2 in the User-Defined Rates group box of the Miscellaneous tab of the Configure Time Settings screen, and its title will be as defined in the Label field.

UDT07 Wildcard Links Subtask

Field Description
UDT02 This column displays the currently linked UDT02.
UDT07 This column displays the currently linked wildcard UDT07s.
Description This column displays the currently linked UDT07 descriptions.
Rate 1 This column displays the rate 1 value for the currently linked UDT07s. This column displays only if you selected the Use check box for Rate 1 in the User-Defined Rates group box of the Miscellaneous tab of the ConfigureTime Settings screen, and its title will be as defined in the Label field.
Rate 2 This column displays the rate 2 value for the currently linked UDT07s. This column displays only if you selected the Use check box for Rate 2 in the User-Defined Rates group box of the Miscellaneous tab of the ConfigureTime Settings screen, and its title will be as defined in the Label field.
